FPC Design Parameters:

1. Dimensions:

   • Precision FPC: Maximum size: 240mm x 500mm (up to 250mm x 500mm), with no minimum size restriction.
   • Roll material board: Maximum width: 240mm, maximum length: 100 meters.

2. Number of Layers:

   • Single-layer boards are simple in structure and ideal for industrial control and electronic instrument applications.
   • Double-sided boards feature two layers of copper foil with increased vias, forming conductive pathways suitable for complex circuits in mobile devices, automotive instruments, and similar products.

3. Solder Mask Colors:
   Options include yellow, black, and white.

   • Yellow is recommended for general-purpose applications, such as cable products.
   • Black is commonly used in high-end or light-absorbing products (e.g., cars, phones, LED displays).
   • White includes an additional reflective coating, making it ideal for lighting fixtures, LED displays, medical aesthetics, and similar applications requiring reflection.

4. Copper Foil Thickness:

   • Precision FPC single panels: 18µm (0.5oz) or 35µm (1oz).
   • Precision FPC double-layer boards: 12µm (0.33oz), 18µm (0.5oz), or 35µm (1oz).
   • Standard FPC single panels: 18µm/25µm/35µm (1oz)/50µm.
   • Standard FPC double-layer boards: Options include 18-25µm, 25-25µm, 35-35µm, or 35-70µm.

5. Minimum Line Width/Spacing:
   While smaller dimensions are possible, they increase the risk of defects. It is generally recommended to use at least 3mil for line width and spacing.
